and go see a DAN! doctor or someone in your area who specializes in orthomolecular (gastro/nutritional) medicine. There is a reason he is developmentally delayed and these guys can get to the root of the problem. If you keep taking him to this, that, and the other specialist, they will only treat symptoms related to their area, none of them will recognize there is an underlying factor that will explain all of this, except the DAN!/orthomolecular dr. (Or if they are aware of the underlying cause, don't count on them to say anything to you). I believe most if not all of these developmentally delayed kids have a metabolic/enzyme/genetic problem that can be helped if you persist on finding the answer. You will need to do lots of research and reading to educate yourself. Have you started with gfcfdiet.com? Read "Biological Treatment of Autism and PDD" by William Shaw even if he does not meet the criteria for Autistic Spectrum. He is developmentally delayed - and there is a reason. Good luck, we'd love to hear how the progress goes - and we can all learn from eachother.
