They recommanded Antibiotics for the infection and different supplements. Any information about these test results, the desease, the remedies etc will be really appreciated!! Thanks. Sarit
Hi. We've done the stool tests with Great Smokies Diagnostics. We use Great Plains for other tests. But I'll try to help. What was his bacterial infection? My kids had a parasite called Blastocystic Hominis. They improved after taking Flagyl. Any antibiotic recommended should be taken with a antifungal like diflucan or nystatin at the SAME TIME to prevent a yeast overgrowth. Pancreatic insufficiency can be caused by not enough hydrochloric acid in the stomach.(a common problem). Digestive enzymes can help balance out pancreatic insuffiency. Secretory IGA has to do with the immune reaction in the intestine and other tissue. What kind of doctor ordered these tests for you? The lab, Great Plains will have a phone consultation with your doctor and explain any answers to your question. Your on the right tract, Good Luck.
