In the conferences section go to "ask Dr Goldberg" do a serch on Valtrex and you should get a lot of answers. Personally we tried Valtrex for 6 weeks with no (minimal ?) results, then the Dr changed us to Famvir (another antiviral)and that together with the other medications has made a big difference. We have been giving our son famvir for 4.5 months.
