In the conferences section do a search on Valtrex and you will find a lot of information.
In our case we used Valtrex for 6 weeks with little effect and then the Dr switched us to Famvir (another antiviral) which in conjunction with the other meds has made a big difference. We have been on Famvir 4.5 months so far.
