: Dolly,
: My Autistic Son is now 8 and had same sleep disruption from birth to age 4+. We did a sleep program through a local University (at home) which was based on a reward system. Remember that Autistic kids are rarely motivated by social requirements but respond well to tangible rewards for learned behaviour. You may need to wait until he is a little more mature to introduce a learned sleep pattern but I found out the hard way that controlled crying, constant attention when not distressed, and strict discipline did little to alter this behaviour. In fact it made it worse as he became more anxious and stressed.
