Our child developed normally for over two years, meeting or exceeding all developmental milestones. Then, over a 6 month period, became autistic. I have another child, so I know what normal development is. I think Grandma Peg is right in that we are dealing with a new epidemic here, not classic autism, to which your theory might apply. These are kids who are blown out of the water somehow, by something.
