: : Hello,

: : I truly need some help to motivate my 7 year old son to
: : have his BM's in the toilet. Any ideas, please give me
: : your help.

: Chloe, take his pull ups and make him wear under wear. Then keep track of the time he has his bm each day. When it gets around this time put him on the potty and make him sit there until he goes. This took me upto 45 minutes sometimes but, I sang songs and looked at books ect... until he went. He cried when he couldn,t hold the bm in any more and finally released it. I think the thought of releasing it in the potty was upsetting to him. I did this for 3-4 days and now he is completely trained. Good luck, I hope this helps

Dear Mom,

I will try just about anything at this point. I have done just about everything to make hime
go in the pot. At times he does and is happy. Now I think it is more of a power play than
anything. Time is my element, but I thought with a walkman to listen to music, this may
just do the trick. Thanks for the idea. I'll let you know how it goes.

Chloe
