My son Nick is 16, and just diagnosed with asbergers syndrome. He wasn't obvious enough to know what to test for, he just never fit in with his age group. He's opositional, negative, tired, discouraged, with low self esteem. He would do off the wall behaviors just to try to fit in. His father denies there is a problem, and I just convinced him to allow me to put him on respridal. Now I've been struggling to convince Nick to take the medication, from reasoning, to threatening to take all privilages away. Last night was the first night he took his medication, and he was still up at 2:00 a.m., couldn't sleep, said he had a headache. I'm nervous, anxious, excited to see an improved lifestyle for him, with mimimal side effects. Wish Him luck
