: Hi there,
My daughter is only 3 and 1/2 and can say lots of words and phrases
but mainly commnuicates what she wants by taking your hand and taking
you where she wants something. She can scribble but did you teach Sean
to write? My daughter is left handed and really just scribbles. Can we teach
her what you taught Sean? Although, she can tell you milk, but just doesn't
half the time.
y son sean has autism, communication was very hard.Sean never uttered a word or never really seemed to comprehend any thing. One day i bought a simple toy called a magma doodle...and it changed are lives dramatically, sean began to write things messages he started communicating to me and my husband through this simple toy..this toy as simple as it is gave sean a way to communicate.he has had a least 10 magma doodles.Sean was tested at his school he's only 4 and he is reading at an 8 year old level amazing!!!!un believable but true..he is communicating alot more and talking because we write on this simple toy everyday..just words, draw pictures, you may want to try this it may sound silly but sean has come a long way .we wrote on this toy his name first...then we would write things like juice,,simple words.then we would write i want juice and say it to him.he carries this toy everywhere and is improving everyday...you may be amazed.Sean is going to pre-school this year and i told the principal at his school about this and they are thinking about buying a few of thesesimple toys.
