My sons fingernail beds to purple and blue and his hands go cold only when he eats. We are waiting to get in to see specialist and don't have diagnosis yet. My brother's son has Asperger's or highly functioning autism. My son has displayed some autistic like behaviors. Has anyone ever heard of these hand symptoms when eating? Why does it happen? Thanks for any help you can give. Our Pediatrician said it was not related. ~Colleen
