I was quite heavy at one time and lost 90 lbs. Since then, when I eat, my whole body gets cold, especially if we eat out in a restaurant. Sometimes it is so bad I shiver and my hands look a little blue. I read somewhere (when I was heavy and didn't have this problem) that if was due to a vitamin deficiency, but I can't remember which one, but in a small child, and turning blue (which mine just get a little funny colored once in a while) I wonder if it has to do with his circulation. I am in great health now, so this is just a little annoying to me. Hopefully it is something minor like that for your child.
