Did you try the anti-fungals on your child/ren? If so which one and what was the outcome. Thanks for your reply. We have just found out that our son is also affected and we have also have had to have a test now.The kids are on Diflucan (have you heard of this? I have read that it is best to use also some (pro-biotics?) I must be very uneducated in this area because half the time I cannot understand the information to get a clear idea as to what I could be doing for my kids i.e tests, suppliments etc. I understand with reading alot of your messages that you have a pretty good understanding of many of the main concerns re Autistic therapies and treatments.Do you think I should be looking into other implications for my two other than G/f C/f ,yeast free, suger free diet?
I would value your advice.(I could hardly understand anything in thr AUTISM FILE magazine but enough to understand an awfull lot of vitamins, nutrients, suppliments are being recommended. As iI am in Midlands UK I cannot find appropriate labs/Drs to carry out the tests recommended. We have had the ones from Paul Shattock (we didnt understand the resuls though- other than that both kids are gluten and milk intolerent)It has taken forever to get the tests for the yeast as our GPs etc are very negative(in fact our peadiatric consultant just told us that Secretin has been proven to be of no use, I dont know where she has got that info) Sorry to go on -I,m good at that.Any advice /info greatly appreciated. Very best wishes CHRISTINE (UK) p.s Is there a Great Smokies Lab in UK?
