We actually were in a Lovaas program, but have since left the program. It was good at first, but after a while, they didn't have much to offer, in the area of verbal skills. This is our child's biggest problem. Good luck to you!

: Many of the strongest critics are people who are on the Spectrum and understand first hand what the Option Program may do to to and for a child with autism. The research I have done in looking for a program for my boy has led me to choose Lovaas as having the most promise. We also do speech and ot, and use a simplified and homegrown play therapy which is more like floortime. We have had good progress (albeit slow) so far after 7 mos. of the ABA.
