The thing is that I need infromation about what vitamins or diet can help him. I would like to know the names of the supplements or vit. also what food he can or can't eat. : : I also live in Florida and my grandson is diagnosed as PDD-NOS. They say he is high functioning, but also have put him under the "autistic spectrum". He has some autistic symptoms and says many words, but does not say many sentences, although we are seeing progress. He also is very loving, likes to be hugged and touched, but only on his terms and when he wants. (At one time, this wasn't true and his eye contact was gone completely.) They explained to us that he is diagnosed as "autistic" to see that he gets all the help that he can get thru state services and schools so he can will continue to progess. He definitely has a disorder, but we are not fighting the diagnosis. If it helps you get any extra help for him, count your blessings and take it. Any speech or occupational therapy or special schooling now will only help him. Autism comes in all levels and different symptoms. With special schooling, vitamins, and diet, hopefully your little boy will be normal.
