I know the feeling. My grandson does that to me. He looks me right in the eyes and gently kisses me with his eyes looking right at mine. It is great to see that eye contact, but the feeling of his love just overwhelms me. He has been doing that for several months and in the past month started say "i love you" back to me. Last night I told him that I loved him and I said can you tell me that you love me and he replied "I love you, Gwandma". That thrilled me. He said it three times while I was there and when I went home, I called on the phone and he said "Hello", "see ya later" and I said "I love you" and his Dad said he started to leave the phone and stopped and leaned back and said "I love you, Gwandma!" It is moments like that that give us real hope.Keep up the silent kisses. Get them as much as you can and hopefully someday along with that sweet loving gesture, you will hear those sweet words also.
