Hello there, my son is 8 yrs old and has austism. He is mentally at about the age of a 4 or 5 year old but we are beginning to think in some areas he is higher than that. he has recently begun talking back to us and being very sarcastic and I have tried everything to get him to stop. I was beginning to think that it is meds but I am now starting to change my view on that. my husband and i are starting to feel that it is his age does anyone have any ideas , we have tried punishing him and talking things away, time out and i have even tried a behavior chart but nothing seems to be working please email me at bratymomx2@aol.com
