: Thank you for all of your replies. So many of you have much more to deal with than I do & I do pray that things do get better, speaking for all of us. I guess once in a while it just hits you hard, I remember not to long ago while I was at a birthday party with the children, my son couldn't join in with any of the kids games because he couldn't understand the proper way to play, & he was so upset with me he cried & hit me in the face to try to get out there to play. I remember crying all the way home. I guess I was just having another one of "those" days at Chuck E Cheeses but so far that is the hardest part for me to deal with is being around other children & seeing my son want to be just like them & play, & like most of you, because he doesn't "look" like something is wrong with him & is acting differently he is already getting picked on. We all have are crosses to bear, some are heavier than others, but I thank you for lending an ear at my time of need.

REPLY; The other id may have been harsh but he also may have saved our boy from getting kicked in the face by someone coming down the slide. Of course it's upsetting when oe doesn't uderstand. But, what are you doing in Chuckie's anyway..?? I've never seen their name on an 'approved' list anywhere. Not that there's something wrong with their food but for ASD kids there well may be. I don't know, I don't frequent them. We do 'Donald's' and the kids get some of this treatment anyway but I thank them who do it or 'saving' our kids from something...and that serves 2 purposes....informs and sometimes shames but the TNX was intended. So cheer up, you're not alone. Try to look at it differently to keep all of you from feeling tragic about it. You need the strength it makes. We all do. God Bless, Grandma Peg
