: He has been on medication for over a year (for epilepsy) we decided to change due to "dreams/hallucinations". But he is still seeing things. I must say that I have witnessed one and he is very coherent and together - he told me very clearly that he saw a little person jump off his table and into the door! When he told me I could tell that he was trying to get my assurance that it was OK! He has had one other "hallucination" that I know of before his diagnosis of epilepsy so it seems to predate medication. To be honest I am at a loss he is a very quiet sensitive loving boy but this is turning into a major problem (he is terrified about going to sleep in his room at night because of what he sees!). Love to hear your ideas on this! Thank you sarah
Hi Sarah, is he on the gf diet? The reason I ask is because my child had hallucinations also. They stopped after he was on the diet for awhile. About a week or so ago he started having them again and the reason was he was sneaking snacks from his sisters room and we didn't catch on for awhile. So if he's not on the diet I'd try it and give it a month or so before you rule this out. CK
