Thanks. He was treated with Nystatin for about 6 weeks. We checked recently and there was no candida (but other bacteria-Klabsiella was found). He is getting a lot of sugar-so I am going to reduce that...

: It can be caused by a few things - but one of the main causes is yeast overgrowth. Both my boys had dark circles until I put them on the yeast therapy. I only see the dark circles now very rarely, and usually it's if the yeast comes back.

: Have you tried removing sugar from the diet, and using anti-fingals and probiotics ?

: You could also find out if there are any other trigger foods that might be causing a reaction too - most kids are unique in their allergies, so if you can get an allergy test done, you might find something is still in the diet that's causing bother.

: Lesley
