: Liz, no no one has come to us about her behavior. However she has really been acting worse lately with her crying though and having trouble with comprehending and I just want to get her some help if she may need it. What was your niece diagnosed with ? Was it just anxiety or what ?Please let me know . Thank you DeAnna :)Friday she called home and said her stomach was hurting had to pick her up right when she went to school . All weekend she has'nt said anything about her stomach , and this morning when she got up , she said it was hurting again .
DeAnna,
I'm not sure what the diagnosis was, but the therapist recommended Paxil. It was anxiety related. If your daughter is having increasing problems with comprehension and stomach problems, I would get her in to see a doctor right away.
Maybe she is more anxious because it is the beginning of a new school year, but still, it is always better to have your child checked out by a physician if you are concerned.
Sincerely,
Liz
