K.

We had an endoscope to confirm the reflux. Did you? How is your son doing? Have you tried Prilosec? It has worked wonders for us. Potty trained over night, no exaggeration. We also do Glueten/casein free. Do you? Our son is 5.

: Hello,
: Our son who is autistic also had reflux since he was very young (only 3yrs now). Zantac was not enough for him, he is also on Prevacid. We just had a visit with a pediatric gastroentrologist last month. He said there was a study done a year ago that showed Zantac was more effective given as a single dose at night, about 5mg/kg a day. The safe range is 6 to 8mg/kg/day. As the child grows you will need to increase his doseage. We, unfortuately, have had lots of experience with this problem.
