My son who is 3 years old has recently had Grommets and has had the same awfull smelling
discharge from his ears for the last 6 weeks. I have frequently visited my doctor as I was concerned
as both ears were discharging heavily. My Doctor took a swab of the discharge and there is
an infection which is now being treated with ear drop antiobiotics/steroid. I cant remember what its called
- but this bug is usually found in the gut. I will be back online again Tuesday and I will bring
the ear drop leaflet with me.
