: My son on occasion gets a devious look on his face and laughs on and on. During this, he also misbehaves and tends to burry his face into a pillow or couch. He does not seem to be able to stop no matter what we do.

: Has anyone else seen this and what does it mean?

Dan, Grandma Peg is correct in saying that this can be an allergic reaction, but it also can be seizures. Has your child had an EEG? My son is 16yr. and autistic, he used to do this uncontrollable laughter, then after having two grand mal seizures he was put on Depakote and has not done this since, the only laughter we have now is if something is truly funny.
