My son had an MRI in August. He is 3 1/2. His MRI showed no abnormalities. The procedure itself was no big deal. They gave him a sedative that helped him go to sleep and he woke up about an hour after the test was over.
These tests don't always show abnormalities, but sometimes they do and if you feel comfortable having him tested it is probably a good idea.

Sincerely,

: Does anyone have experience with this.
: What might I expect from the results?
: How is it helpful?

: Thanks,
