I took Refafin before my first of two surgeries. It did absolutely nothing for me. I was taking 1500mg 2x's a day. I took it after my second surgery as well. Again nothing. My mother, who sprained her ankle afew months ago was prescribed relafin, and I chuckled when I saw her prescription. She said it does wonders for her. So that is what I meant by "great for sprains" Fo you and I, who have more serious back problems, relafin alone wont cut it. So, has it been helping you? Stay well Maria (bos)
