But wouldn't this be considered a bulging disc? What your describing is a bulging disc that sort of like "collasped and overlapped the disc below it"? Am I picturing this correctly or not? It doesn't sound possible given the composition of disc material. They must be in a pretty weakend state to be able to do that. I can understand the leg pain from the nerves but it sounds like it would be easy to correct? They have so many surgical procedures where they wouldn't even have to cut your back. Have you looked into these procedures for yourself? Would you be a good candidate for them?

Is Spondy painful? It sure sounds like it would be. No wonder PT and all the other treatments have been unsuccessful. What are you taking for it now for the pain and is it helping any at all? If what I now think it is based on how I translated from what you described it doesn't sound like much fun and it's definitely not arthiritis like I thought it was. I look forward to your response Ian. Be well
