Hi Nichole, I dont know you, your history, what kind of surgery you've had, how many, etc, but I have to say, I am so happy to hear a year later and you are healed. That is awesome!!! As far as you back pain from sitting, I guess it would depend on your condition. Have you asked your doctor if you should be having any pain? My guess is, and this is just my opinion, I don't think we will have our backs the way they were before all the surgerys and other types of treatements they've had. My ortho has said something similar to that. I guess the safest thing to do, is ask your doctor what is normal, and what's not. Is back pain normal after sittig for 8hours? Should I be feeling anything in my leg? Then I would listen to your body. If your back says "stop that's enough sitting" get up and walk around until you feel ready to sit again. It sounds like your work is very supportive, so I'm sure they wouldnt mind you doing that. Don't push yourself, you know this better than anyone that your back is more important than any deadline, any meeting, any what ever. Good Luck, and I pray that you continue to heal. Be well. Maria (Bos)
