Hi again Y'all - okay here's a question for any of you that have had any surgeries done anteriorally: How long, normally, does it take (I know this is gross and embarassing!) to have a bowel movement again? I'm having trouble, have taken the laxative my dr. recommended, and nothing is happening. I remember him telling me a couple weeks ago that bowel obstruction is a possible complication, and I'm getting scared.....any help? Should I call him, or wait another day? Am I making a big deal out of nothing? And if it possibly a bowel obstruction, what do they do for that?
