The pain is REAL and not fun at all. My heart goes out to him. Sue K

: My adult brother recently had a discogram completed and it confirmed that his L5 (I am not exactly sure of the terminology) was "bad"?... anyway, he describes the proceedure as the worst thing he has ever endured.. and is still barely walking around several days later. My brother is a real "wimp" when it comes to pain, so I am not sure if he is really describing this accurately or not. Can you give me some insight and let me know if I need to show more compassion. I can see that he is in terrible pain. I can't understand the purpose of such a procedure (discogram) if it really causes that much pain.
