Luckily I have been fortunate enough to have a pain management Doctor that was willing to assist me with my medicine needs. I am taking 20 mg Oxycontin 3 X Day, Lortab 10 Three times Day for breakthrough pain, and soma for spasms. Without this medication I would be unable to get out of bed and walk. As for the injections, I have had trigger point injections (did nothing), facet joint injections, and other nerve block injections. I am not sure of the names, but they all consisted of needles that where about 5-6 inches long (kinda like the one's users for the IDET). When I say that I have had over 100 injections, I am also referring to the stingers (the one's that numb the area/ local pain med?). I remember getting one stinger with just about every injection. I don't know why but I began counting every time I was jabbed in the spine or lumbar region of my back. Thanks for taking the time to respond.
