I was just notified by my doctor that Blue Cross/Blue Shield will not pay for IDET. They say it's an, "experimental procedure." It's only been done 10K times+ since 1997 and they think it's experimental. Go figure.
Can anyone out there guide me to someone who can help my doctor sway BC/BS into seeing the light and paying for this. I've been in pain for 1.5 years with an annular tear to L2-L3, had numerous epidural injections and even a rhizotomy with no relief.
