Hi everyone,
I've been reading your posts up until about a week before I went in for surgery. I just got out of the hospital 5 days ago. I am in a hard "corset" for the next 3 months, and needless to say, a lot of pain meds. What I'm finding I need most is a lot of optimism, and support. I'm getting a lot of physical help at home, thanks to my wonderful husband. Oh, by the way, the first two surgeries were, anterior and posterior fusion for level 4 spondylolithesis, the third was to take out a couple of screws that slipped, and clean out the foam they spray on your spine to keep you from hemorraging, I had a severe allergic reaction to it. This is no fun. :(
