I was all set with surgery..got all my pre op stuff done and then today hubby's commander (he's Air Force) basically said...sorry, can't give you the time off you need...so now I have no choice but to cancel surgery indefinitely. I have no family that cares enough...heck, if they cared they would have at least come to visit me at least once in the last 11 years I have been gone with my hubby traveling with the military..they barely even keep in touch. I have absolutely no other choice but to cancel surgery. And I thought yesterday was bad when some women basically accused me of abusing handicap parking because she couldn't SEE my handicap. She actually had the nerve to WAIT until hubby and I walked from the car to the doors of the store and then rudely say "do you have a handicap?" Grrrrr....thanks for listening...i really don't know what to do. Why should I have to suffer when there is something that could most likely help me? I guess I should mention I have 2 young girls...one isn't in school yet...that is the major problem. And we don't have the money to put her in daycare and even if we did..why should I have to do that to her??? She shouldn't have to sacrifice anymore than she has already because of my pain.
