Thanks Ben.You must have a good lawyer. Our lawyer is not that great. We have thought about firing him but once we light a candle under him he is a lot more progressive.Maybe you can explain something to us.After James hurt himself and wc would not pick up the claim,James had to leave the company he originally got injured with because they had no health insurance. He worked for this other company for eight months with a herniated disc which by then had ruptured. He worked until he could not stand it any longer.By then he had health insurance and they went ahead and covered his surgery. That is when w.c. finally said ok.(oh and yes the pay drop is a killer). So about two months into the healing process James starts having real bad pain again. He told his work that he did not know when he could come back because there are some problems.About a month or two(its been a while) later they called him and said they could not pay for his insurance anymore. Then a while after that the owner called and basically said James no longer worked for them.We did not even bother to pursue it because he was in so much pain we did not know when or if he would get back there. But in hindsight, could we have fought them over the health insurance?Like I said before he can never be a plumber again but after reading your post it just made me ? if there was something we could have done to save his insurance.I have finally been offered some at my work after six years.I had to threaten to leave to get it but thats only because they dont offer it to anyone. So I am real happy they are paying for it.OK then enough of the book!Hope your day is well and GOD bless.
