Hi Martin, researched the definition of prolapsed and it would be the equivalent of a herniated disc. Which is obviously lying on some of your nerves to be causing the symptoms you are feeling. With proper PT (if eligible a simple herniated disc can go back). If badly herniated the chances of it go back are not good-sorry!

What type of consultant are you seeing? Hopefully it is either a neuro. or an ortho.? I would very much like to be kept up to date on your diagnosis if you know what I mean. Be well Martin and please do let us know what's going on with you.
