Hi everybody,
My name is Max I’m 36 use to be very athletic (15 years of professional fencing in Russia). In September 99 I got from nowhere two midline herniated discs L4/L5 and L5/S1. The disc herniation at L5/S1 displaces both nerve roots posterior and inferior in position. I had enormous pain in my right leg for about a month. Used everything I can (chiro, massage, physical therapy ) to recover and I was doing very well for about three month. Then it happens again in February and I recover again. While I was recovering Orthopedic Surger was telling me that I need an operation and I will never have this problem in a future. But I always refused to do it.
Now it’s happen again I’m in pain for three weeks but this time not so bad. I’m loosing hope. Any advise? Should I do an operation? Do I have any chances without, or it will hit me later?
Thanks
Max
