Hi, how are you. I promised you the poem. Not to brag, but I have been selected as a finalist from 15,000 people to win some pretty decent money. It has already been copy writed. To tell you where it is on the net would be violating the rules as the poem is part of a book that will be published and is for sale, no matter if I win or not. I am proud. It is about time, huh. Let me know how you are. Here it goes.

In The Face of Courage

The pain of life is always here
With goals and dreams fall ever near
My heart may glow with hope and fear
Itís only in thoughts I hold so dear
With each new day I find thereís hope
It spurs me on, I always cope
The hospital walls so white and pristine
Leave me feeling within between
Not so long it will be now
The pain of recovery will show me how
No movement I make is ever in vain
The moment of discovery is only pain
In time this will end, it always does
With nurses and doctors hovering above
The anesthesia wares off all to soon
There is nothing like the thought of doom
Iím told in time this will all be gone
The pain and despair will be a forgotten song
Itís too long from now I feel relief
Itís in Godís name I find belief.
