I have had a bone density, or bone scan - it is completely painless. They give you in injection of this special dye an hour before you go in to lay under this huge machine that hovers just above your body. The only real pain is lying perfectly still.... I hope the results will provide some help to your Docs. Keep us posted. Peace - Rick J
