Thank you all who answered my "dilemna" post....well, here's the scoop.....I put in a call to my surgeon's office, and talked to the receptionist, who knows me from numerous visits. I explained my feelings to her and she is going to have the other doc call me back about my concerns. She was very nice about it. SOOooo...I'm hoping he'll prescribe me something other than Vioxx (I've gotten a few good suggestions from you guys, and will ask about those), and that I can see him for my post-operative checks, X-rays, etc.
I really appreciate the caring bunch of people that I've found here, and all the helpful advice/information that you've given me. You've blessed my life.
