Sorry you are in such bad pain.. hope you can find relief... I had scar tissue removed from L5-S1 area back in March of this year and have been free of scar tissue pain for almost 8 months.
My doctor used lysis wydase procedure to remove the scar tissue. It took two treatments to remove all the tissue.. during the first treatment I had a local anesthetic.. and the treatment was very painful... for the second treatment I was put to sleep with an IV drip and felt no pain. During both treatments my pain doctor (an anesthesiologist) used a fluroscope to see the area he was working on. I was sent to this pain management doctor by my neuro surgeon who did my disc herniation operation in 1994. The scar tissue pain I had before the lysis was a knife cutting pain everytime I would stand up or try to sit down.. the pain also got worst if I laid on my side or try to turn while laying down.
The pain was soo bad I almost lost my job and my mind.
If you type wydase in a search engine you should be able to find medical infomation on this procedure on the internet and some of the postings I wrote a few months ago. I am not on this board everyday but I will check this board for the next few days in case you have any questions. Wish you well.
