: my left side. For about 6 months was in pain management etc. and finally received a facet joint injection. This resulted in a 50% relief and only bothered me intermittently over the past few years. I am a senior and the troublesome signs are back. Mostly from groin to knee Aching in left kidney area which subsides after sitting down.
: very often, burning, itching stabbng pins and needles
: Very painful in left upper leg.. Pinched nerves ???
Dear Kathleen:
I, too, have problems on my left side (poor posture I think). I am a 52 year old woman with ostheoarthritis of the spine, and it tends towards the left. I have had low back surgery (L4-5, S1-2 area of the spine and had my neck fused (C5-6)this past June. Yes, it does sound like you have a pinched nerve. Also, if you had cortisteroid facet injections, they don't last forever. I suggest you go into your doctor to get things checked out. Please be sure to tell your doctor about the pain in the kidney area as well. That definately should be checked out. Take care, PatG.
