hello all, i am a newbie here. well i just returned home from my 3rd back surgery in 10 years, wow. it really stinks. what happened...1st i had a ruptured disc at l5s1, surgery was my option because i tried EVERYTHING there was to try, after the surgery everything was great....6 years down the road the same disc ruptures and the same pain, and surgery with the same results...now(the present date) my disc ruptures at the same location for a 3rd time, i do PT, Steroid injections, everything...so me and the docs talk about fusion since this is the 3rd time, i decide to do it, now i am at home with alot of pain and numbness...is this normal? i have alot of trouble sleeping, maybe 3-4 hours a day...but this is just my 7th day after the surgery, so should i expect the results to get better anytime soon. i would love to hear from people who have went through this simular situation. thanks for listening, and GOD Bless!!
