Hi Millie and welcome.Wow,ruptured disks are far more serious than herniated ones.I wish someone would have told my husband there was even another choice for his ruptured disk besides surgery.Once the disk ruptures,it is just bone on bone,Ouch,you poor thing.You can hold out for disk replacement.They are trying to get it approved.James has had the nerve block to ho help.Also three surgeries,still not much help.Planning on another fusion sometime in Feb.Good luck on your quest to find relief.
