Hi Maria (Bos).

Sorry to hear of another person having scar tissue pain. My pain is, of course, the scar tissue in my back (from a spinal stenosis surgery 6 years ago). The pain really isn't in my back, but in my hips and down the outside of the legs, caused by the scar tissue pressing on the nerves. My surgeon and my family doctor say it's from the back surgery and the large amount of scar tissue and that they can do nothing. They can't seem to answer why I had no pain for five years following the surgery.

I know that Maria had the wydase injections, which helped her. When I go to the spinal clinic in January, I want to tell them about those injections. My family doctor said that anything that would remove scar tissue would leave scar tissue in its place. Hopefully, he is wrong.

It must be very difficult for you to be working in pain. I am retired and, until last year, was quite active with walking and snow skiing. Now I can hardly keep my house clean.

Thank you for answering. I don't feel so alone when I hear that others have a similar problem
