Hi Diane.. sorry I did not respond faster but just read the board this morning.. I do hope you can find relief... I know scar tissue pain is horrible. I am doing very well.. no scar tissue pain since March when I had all the scar tissue removed. I did ask my doctor about scar tissue growing back.. he said "it may it may not" he said it might grow back if I should suffer trauma again in the same area. I feel he was honest. I decided to do the procedure because I could no longer live with that horrible pain day after day... I felt like I had lost my life and almost my mind. Diane.. it took 6 years for the scar tissue to grow after a disc herniation operation back in 1994... it may take that long for new scar tissue to grow again... it may be sooner but I accepted this possibility when I agreed to have the tissue removed. I am hoping for the best.. that no tissue ever grows back.. but it is a wait and see situation. I can only tell you that 9 months of no scar tissue pain has been a life saver for me. I am soo sorry you are suffering.. believe me.. I know how you feel and I pray you can find a treatment that helps.. the best to you and hope you will be pain free soon. My email is still the same.. sorry your email did not get to me but try again if you need more info. MLA777@webtv.net (first three letters must be in caps) Maria(NY)
