Finally doctor has decided and confirmed that indeed I do have degenerative disk diease. Problem is most medicines are anti-inflammatory and I can not take because of a stomach ulcers. I deal with the pain by walking at least 4 times a week to keep stomach and back muscles strong and use a gym system that uses your body weight as resistance which does not hurt my back. Of course both exercises were approved by my doctor.
Back stretching exercises work also. And all is done when my back is not providing me from exercising. Am I doing all I can? Am young and have a very active life style with a young child and my profession involves lifting heavy samples. Any wisdom would be greatly appreciated.
