: About 6 Months ago I herniated a lower disk, basicly one that is inside the hips just above the the tail bone. I had ciatic nerv pressure that ran down my left leg, and at first was very painful. Well now I just have a little numbness on the bottom of my foot and tenderness on top of my foot. I am currently taking a antiinflamitory and really starting feel better. I am going to start again on a weight training program. I know that I have to be careful because of reasons of how it happened, which was by doing squats. I have bought some WHEY PROTEIN and I think I am going to start out slow (it goes without saying). Does any body have some good advise on any thing related to a training program. Or has any body recovered from a simalar ailment and has gone back to lifting.
: I gonna do this. I have laid on the couch to long. I have gain an embarrassing (to me) 20 or so pounds and really lost a lot of energy and ambition. And I want it back. Thanks

Im getting my fitness back though. Just be careful and use light wieghts. Good luck (remember summers around the corner)
