Hi,

He's 3. Get the right diagnosis and the correct meds if necessary. Firstly, you have asthma....secondly, he has eczema. Seems the perfect connection to assume it's asthma that your son has.

Read about pediatric asthma, find out all the info you can, and make an EDUCATED decision as to how much denial you're wanting to be fed by the doctors and how much you're willing to accept.

Asthma is a life-long chronic disease, no matter how many pediatric docs say they'll grow out of it. It always comes back if it's taken a hiatus.

I'm not surprised as to the perceived labels. To what detriment is denial....?

I'm happy to hear your son's doing better. It must be very hard on you to see him having such a tough time.
