Re: Early hyper tension -- any suggestions

Well, to be blunt.....

You can diet and cut out junk food and exercise like a racehorse and still die or be incapacitated by a stroke or heart attack because of high blood pressure...not to mention the damage to kidneys, etc.

I am not a fan of BPM but if you have a history in the family.....what are your choices. Much HBP is due to diet and lack of exercise but if not, there is nothing you can do about it.

Sometimes I see the people on these boards almost like the anti-vaccination freaks out there that will do everything short of selling their souls to get you to not vaccinate your kids.

Good luck and realize that sometimes you fight valliantly and still lose. But I have been on BP meds for 7 years now and while they do come with some minor side effects...most of them have been like taking aspirin. You gotta realize that most of the negative stuff on these boards is the worst of the worst kind of thing.
