Re: oral herpes thoughts
By oral herpes, do you mean type one or type 2? as i believe, from what i've been told, that type 1 and 2 can differ when you get them orally, but i don't know enough about it.
I've had type 1 orally off and on from childhood. Don't know if i have type 2 orally, but do have it genitally. I recently did feel a weird sensation on my top lip and thought i'd get the typical cold sore as i've had so much to do and have been stressed out and that's when i usually will get them. This time, the cold sore didn't break out, i just ended up getting a tiny dry patch of skin and the skin would flake off repeatedly, but no blisters, no bumps, no nothing, just the tiny area of skin which would dry up and flake off. Nobody would even know i've got it. I've never had anything like this before. As for pains, i've only ever had sore/sensitive skin on my thigh and hip area a couple of times and only since i've been diagnosed with type 2 genitally.
